FyterTech Nonwovens™ Completes Transition From NPS Spill Control
De Pere, WI, February 16, 2021 – FyterTech Nonwovens announced today the completion of transition activities regarding the renaming and branding of NPS Spill Control as FyterTech Nonwovens LLC.
“Our focus on bringing manufacturing strengths and technology to bear on nonwoven solutions for our customers can now take center stage,” states Andy Hetzel, President and CEO of FyterTech Nonwovens. “Whether they are liquid safety spill control solutions, critical media for filtration applications or custom products for mitigating health risks and biological hazards, our nonwoven manufacturing capabilities will continue to expand as we invest in new resources to support our customers.”
While the move formally introduces two new product categories – Filtration and Health & Hygiene, Spill Control will continue to operate as it did before the transition. “FyterTech will continue to build on the Liquid Safety Solutions brand we started last year,” adds Ben Brumfield, Senior Vice President of FyterTech Nonwovens. “Our focus on spill control and delivering the best products that allow you to “Absorb It, Wipe It, and Contain It” has not changed.”
As a name and brand, FyterTech combines the equity established by its core spill control brand “Spilfyter” with the company’s investments in technology and resources. The FyterTech name also represents an attitude that kept the business moving forward during a challenging 2020.
With this transition, FyterTech has moved it’s corporate headquarters to its largest manufacturing location in De Pere, WI, a suburb of Green Bay. The company maintains a global footprint including production and distribution facilities in Green, Bay, WI; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA; Port Arthur, TX; Lexington, TN; Salt Lake City, UT; Manchester, UK and distribution partnerships in the Netherlands and Singapore. The business will continue to sell spill control products and filtration media to distribution partners throughout the United States, North America and in over 60 different countries globally.
